Christmas Steps
It’s always a special time when I get to visit Bristol, England again. Last time I was there, I took the opportunity to get a shot of the top of The Christmas Steps so I could do this illustration later on. It’s a really special place, and worth the trip for the nostalgia alone, for me anyway.

This was the illustration that got me back into architectural drawing. During a visit to Bristol, England, I snagged a sketchbook, pen and shading brush because I just really felt like drawing. As you can see, I dedicated this one to my dad who encouraged my illustrations as a kid.
